  • This position is responsible for taking customer orders and creating ice cream treats such as soft serve cones, sundaes, flurries and more. No experience necessary, training is included, and you will earn tips.

    Your responsibilities and our expectations will include—but may not be limited to—the following:

    Fulfilling fundamental missions of Dairy Korner:

    ✅ Ensuring customers’ outstanding experience through engagement, product quality, and exemplary service

    ✅ Creating all products correctly and efficiently

    ✅ Maintaining cleanliness standards

    Communication Skills:

    ✅ Able to effectively communicate with team members

    ✅ Should be considered outgoing and approachable

    ✅ Able to enthusiastically interact with customers

    Physical Requirements:

    ✅ Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds

    ✅ Able to prepare soft serve cones

    ✅ Available to work approximately 8-15 hours per week

    ✅ Additional hours available in summer months

    ✅ Flexible scheduling

    ✅ Must be available most evenings and weekends

    ✅ Cash handling: must be trustworthy and honest

    Reports to Shift Supervisors and Owners

  • Applicants must be able to work days, evenings, nights & holidays. Perfect for a second job or someone with the desire to learn and grow as an individual. This position is open to 17 year olds and up for this position due to the use of kitchen equipment.

    A good candidate for this job is a person with great attention to detail who can keep the kitchen tidy and clean all while preparing, cooking, and arranging food together with the rest of our kitchen staff. Our ideal candidate must be a team player, have the ability to maintain a positive attitude, all while maintaining the highest level of professionalism to achieve the high standards of service and quality that Dairy Korner is known for.

    This position is seasonal - all staff are expected to work through the end of the season. Total weekly hours are negotiable.

    Great kitchen help will be quick and diligent and willing to improve on the job. You are able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team. Responsible for the preparation, production and presentation of all menu items.

    We pride ourselves in our exceptional service, and we expect nothing less from our kitchen crew. The kitchen is a crucial part to making sure everything runs smoothly and consistently.

    Job duties include but are not limited to the following:

    ✅ Prepping food items (slicing, dicing, etc)

    ✅ Understanding food portion control.

    ✅ Ability to work and thrive in a very fast paced environment.

    ✅ On your feet throughout the shift.

    ✅ Ability to take direction and orders.

    ✅ Washing dishes

    ✅ Keeping the kitchen area in a clean and tidy manner.

    ✅ Ability to follow procedures and recipes consistently and effectively.- Properly learn and execute all of our recipe procedures.- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.

    ✅ Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

    ✅ Communicate ticket times to Team Members.

    ✅ Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.

    ✅ Employees receive an hourly rate + split cash & credit card tips!

  • Your responsibilities and our expectations will include—but may not be limited to—the following:

    ✅ Must have previous experience with managing teams, customer service, leadership.

    ✅ Operating the store in peak hours (including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends)

    ✅ Store opening responsibilities and other various day-to-day operational procedures

    ✅ Managing a crew of between two and seven employees

    Fulfilling fundamental missions of Dairy Korner by:

    ✅ Ensuring customers’ outstanding experience through engagement, product quality, and exemplary service

    ✅ Creating all products correctly and efficiently

    ✅ Maintaining cleanliness standards

    ✅ Leading by example by setting standards for professionalism (inside and outside of the workplace), maturity, work quality, and customer interaction

    ✅ Leading a crew approximately 15 hours per week (plus additional non-leadership hours)

    ✅ Cash handling: Must be trustworthy and honest.
